Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday posted a heartwarming video where he is accompanied by a gorgeous peacock and is seen feeding the national bird at his residence 7, Lok Kalyan Marg in the national capital. Taking it to his official Instagram account, Prime Minister shared the 1.47-minute long video made with a photo collage and short visuals with a melodious flute music in the background. In the short clip, he is seen engrossed in feeding the peacock during his morning exercises while another clip shows him with a pair of peahen inside his official residence in Delhi. The feathered ones can be seen comfortably eating from Prime Minister Modi's hands or even following him when he out on his early morning walk.

Captioned as 'precious moments', PM Modi along with the clip also posted a long poem dedicated to his feathered friend, which says 'the soul of the living being is the soul of God'.


As per the reports, PM Modi has even placed Chabootras, the elevated structures often found in rural India, so that birds can easily make their nests.

Last year, Modi had won several hearts when he appeared on a special episode of 'Man vs Wild' with its host, survivalist and adventurer Bear Grylls.

The special edition of "Man Vs Wild" featuring the PM created history by garnering highest slot viewership with 3.69 million impressions overtaking GEC leader Star Plus with 3.67 million impressions.
