Prime Minister Narendra Modi on a poetic note welcomed the new year, 2021. PM wrote a motivating poem which was shared on MyGovIndia’s Twitter handle.

The poem is titled “Abhi Toh Suraj Uga Hai” which in English translates to “The Sun Has Just Risen”.
“Let’s start our first day of the new year with a mesmerizing and motivating poem ‘Abhi Toh Suraj Uga hai’, written by our beloved PM @narendramodi,” MyGovIndia’s tweet quoted.

The poem was shared in a video format, as it is a tribute to frontline workers including doctors, soldiers, and police. The video also featured farmers.
PM Modi’s poem also implies the hardship faced by the people during the coronavirus pandemic.
Apart from the poem, Prime Minister took to Twitter and extended his New Year greetings with a message. He wished that the New Year brings joy, health, and prosperity, and also expressed wishes that hope and wellness to prevail.
Recently, PM Modi laid the foundation stone of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Rajkot and remembered the Corona Warriors who fought against all odds to beat the disease and break the coronavirus chain.

In his address, he said that the mantra for 2021 would be “davai bhi, kadaai bhi (yes to medicine and yes to caution)”. The Prime Minister also urged people to strictly follow all precautions even after vaccination.
