PM Modi In Germany Today - Check Complete Schedule Here

According to the schedule, PM Modi will be arriving in Berlin at 09:30 AM on Monday. At 4:15 PM, Modi will attend the sixth India-Germany Inter-Governmental Consultations at Federal Chancellery.

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will go to Germany, Denmark, and France for three days beginning May 2 as part of his first trip overseas this year, amidst the Ukraine conflict and Europe's tough stance on dealing with it.

The prime minister will conduct bilateral meetings with German Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz in Berlin, and the two leaders will co-chair the sixth edition of the India-Germany Inter-Governmental Consultations (IGC), according to the MEA.

Ahead of PM's visit to Berlin, the Indian Ambassador to Germany Harish Parvathaneni said, "PM's visit to Berlin on 2-3 May for India-Germany Inter-Governmental Consultations is a landmark visit. This year we not only celebrate Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav but also commemorate 70 years of the establishment of diplomatic relations b/w India-Germany," news agency ANI reported.

"It's been over 20 yrs since we established a strategic partnership with Germany.IGC format provides an opportunity for our 2 leaders&their ministerial colleagues to review elements of our strategic partnership, review progress so far & be able to chart a future roadmap," Parvathaneni said.

PM Modi's Schedule For 2 May In Berlin

According to the schedule, PM Modi will be arriving in Berlin at 09:30 AM on Monday. At 4:15 PM, Modi will attend the sixth India-Germany Inter-Governmental Consultations at Federal Chancellery.

From 7 to 7:20 PM, Modi will be attending the press conference at Press Lounge in Federal Chancellery. Following the conference, PM Modi will be participating in the business roundtable at Commerzbank from 8 to 8:50 PM.

As per the schedule, PM Modi will be attending a Grand reception at Theater Am PostdamerPlatz from 10 to 10:45 PM.

He will also be attending a dinner hosted by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz at 11:30 PM. This will be the first meeting of the two leaders after Olaf Scholz became German Chancellor.
