The PMAY-G has been implemented in Madhya Pradesh with many unique and innovative steps like training thousands of masons, including women masons using fly ash bricks.
It also worked on empowering women's self-help groups (SHGs) by providing them loans for centering material and using technology for better execution and monitoring of projects.
According to a report by news agency PTI, 24.10 lakh houses have been built under the PMAY-G scheme in Madhya Pradesh.
Among these 23,000 houses are for people from the Baiga, Saharia, and Bharia tribal communities.
