New Delhi: Union Minister Anurag Thakur and actor Ranveer Singh danced to the tunes of ‘Malhari’ song, one of the famous scores from Ranveer Singh’s movie 'Bajirao Mastani', at the Indian Pavilion at Dubai Expo 2020 on Monday.
A video of the same was shared where Ranveer Singh could be seen in a red ethnic wear dancing with Anurag Thakur while the crowd cheered for both.

The Union Information and Broadcasting Minister was at the Dubai Expo to participate in a conversation on ‘The Global Reach of Indian Media and Entertainment Industry’. He said that India should become “content subcontinent” of the world by next year, adding that “language is not a barrier today.”
“I feel by next year India should become the content subcontinent of the world... Language is not a barrier today. People across all sections of society are breaking into a song at the sound of India, it's a huge contribution of the Indian film industry,” the Union Minister said.
"People have gathered in huge numbers to witness India Pavilion at Dubai Expo. People are excited to watch Indian exhibitions including Yoga, Ayurveda, tourism, textile, cosmic world, and cinema world. Around 17 lakh people have visited India Pavilion," Thakur added, quoted news agency ANI.
Ranveer also said that Indian content is on the cusp of making its presence felt on the world stage. "Indian entertainment is going to explode globally," he said adding "Our stories resonate with people and transcend cultural boundaries and Indians abroad connect with India through films," reported ANI.
