The proceedings in both houses of the parliament did not go ideally. Both Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha had to be adjourned twice. The government did not discuss the repeal of farm laws, the speakers in both the houses did not allow opposition members to speak on the farmers' issue.
Vice President Venkaiah Naidu, who is also the chair at Rajya Sabha suspended 12 MPs owning to unruly behavior in the monsoon session of the parliament. The opposition under the leadership of Mallikarjun Kharge said that this suspension was undemocratic. The Congress will continue its protest against the suspension of 12 MPs even today outside the Gandhi statue at the Indian parliament.
