2 Bills Passed In Lok Sabha

The Factoring Regulation (Amendment) Bill, 2021 passed in Lok Sabha. The National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management Bill, 2021 passed in Lok Sabha.


The lower house has been adjourned till tomorrow amid uproar by opposition members.

Parliament disruptions

Union Ministers Amit Shah, Pralhad Joshi, and Dharmendra Pradhan met Lok Sabha speaker Om Birla over Parliament disruptions. Amit Shah and Dharmendra Pradhan left after meeting the Lok Sabha Speaker.


Earlier, Rajya Sabha was adjourned again till 4 pm.

'I've brought farmers' message to Parliament': Rahul Gandhi

"As per Govt, farmers are very happy and those (protesting farmers) sitting outside are terrorists. But in reality, farmers' rights are being snatched away," Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said after driving a tractor to Parliament


"I've brought farmers' message to Parliament. They (Govt) are suppressing the voices of farmers and not letting a discussion take place in Parliament. They'll have to repeal these black laws. The entire country knows these laws favour 2-3 big businessmen," he added.

Floor leaders of Opposition parties in Rajya Sabha met at Leaders of Opposition in Rajya Sabha, Mallikarjun Kharge's office in Parliament, to discuss the strategy regarding the issues raised by them in the House.

Parliament Monsoon Session HIGHLIGHTS: Ahead of the first day of Parliament Monsoon Session's second week, Congress MP Manish Tewari and Manickam Tagore gave adjournment motion notice in Lok Sabha to discuss the 'Pegasus Project' report.


Floor leaders of Opposition parties in Rajya Sabha met at Leaders of Opposition in Rajya Sabha, Mallikarjun Kharge's office in Parliament, to discuss the strategy regarding the issues raised by them in the House.


Meanwhile, the Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM)announced that women will conduct the ongoing 'Kisan Sansad' at Jantar Mantar on Monday as the farmers' protest against three farm laws completes eight months.


Thousands of farmers at Delhi borders have been pressing for their demand to repeal the three farm laws enacted last year.


The collective of over 40 protesting farmer unions said in a statement that several convoys of women farmers were reaching the Delhi borders to join the 'Mahila Kisan Sansad'.
