"Indian Council of Historical Research hasn't launched any project to 'rewrite Indian history', but is working on incorporating all prominent figures and incidents that are not part of history books," Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said, PTI reported.
"Over 690 universities, 34,000 colleges operating without National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) accreditation," Education Ministry stated.
"Over 14,600 faculty positions vacant in higher education institutions managed by central govt," Education Ministry further stated.
Union Minister Piyush Goyal on Monday said that the Opposition comes to Parliament with the motive of not letting dialogues happen peacefully after Rajya Sabha was adjourned following a ruckus by the Opposition over the Adani issue.

Several MPs of the Opposition parties in Rajya Sabha including Raghav Chaddha, Sanjay Singh, Imran Pratapgarhi, Shakti Singh Gohil, Sandeep Pathak, Kumar Ketkar among others were warned after they entered Well of the House.

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said that Rahul Gandhi will respond to the notice given by Lok Sabha secretariat over his allegations on PM Modi and the BJP adding that what he said was already in public domain. "Whatever Rahul Gandhi had mentioned in the Parliament was already in the public domain and there is nothing unparliamentary about this. So he will respond to the notice accordingly," he said.

Congress MP Rahul Gandhi launched a scathing attack on BJP-led central government raising questions on its relationship with billionaire Gautam Adani. While speaking in the Lok Sabha Gandhi said that the relationship between PM Modi and Gautam Adani began many years ago when the former was chief minister of Gujarat. He also said that real magic began when PM Modi reached Delhi in 2014.
"Relationships begins many years ago when Narendra Modi was Gujarat CM...one man stood shoulder to shoulder with PM Modi, he was loyal to PM and helped Mr Modi to construct idea of a Resurgent Gujarat. Real magic began when PM Modi reached Delhi in 2014," Rahul Gandhi said.

Launching an attack on Congress during his reponse to the Motion of Thanks on President's speech in Lok Sabha a day after Rahul Gandhi spoke in the Parliament, Prime Minister said India will remember the ten years before 2014 as the lost decade.
Taking a dig at the UPA, PM Modi said during the previous government, India was discussed for its blackout days and added that the country faced some of the biggest scams when the UPA was at the helm of administration.
Next day during his reponse to the Motion of Thanks on President's speech in Rajya Sabha, PM Modi responded to sloganeering and ruckus by the opposition saying, "the more you throw 'keechad', the better the lotus will bloom."
"I want to tell these MPs (Oppostion MPs)...the more you throw 'keechad', the better the lotus will bloom," he said.
Opposition MPs stormed the well of the House demanding the formation of a Joint Parliamentary Committee on the Adani Issue as PM Modi addressed the Rajya Sabha.
