A Pakistani intruder was arrested along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir, according to a PTI report. Mohd Nadeem, 34, is a resident of Samani village in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). He was intercepted by vigilant army personnel in the Nowshera sector while attempting to cross the border late on Friday.
The troops on patrolling duties saw the unarmed intruder and swiftly arrested him, following a brief chase, as per news agency PTI.
Subsequently, Mohd Nadeem was questioned to determine the motive behind his infiltration into Indian territory from across the border.

This comes just days after Border Security Force (BSF) jawans neutralised a suspected Pakistani infiltrator at the India-Pakistan border, situated in Rajasthan's Sriganganagar district, PTI reported citing police sources.
According to Keshri Singhpur SHO Jitendra Kumar, the incident occurred near BSF’s Sundarpura post when the jawans spotted a man coming from the Pakistan side. Kumar said the BSF troops warned the man and asked him to return but he did not listen and they opened fire on him. He died on the spot, he said.
The body was placed in a mortuary for identification, according to PTI.
A flag meeting was scheduled with Pakistani Rangers, during which BSF personnel engaged in discussions to facilitate the transfer of the body to Pakistan. However, if Pakistani authorities declined to claim the body, arrangements were made for the individual's final rites to be conducted in India.
According to The Times of India, official sources from the BSF stated that after the newly appointed Inspector General of BSF Rajasthan Frontier, Makrand Deuskar assumed charge, BSF was placed on high alert across the entire Rajasthan Frontier border. Stringent guidelines were issued to maintain strict vigilance.
