Man Jumps To Death From Girlfriend’s Third-Floor Flat Fearing Getting Caught By Her Brother

Hassan Farooq visited his girlfriend at her residence, when he heard her brother instead of walking out the door he jumped off the three storey building.

Lahore: A young man jumped off his girlfriend's house's rooftop as he feared of getting caught by her brother and got severely injured on Thursday. The incident took place in Dijkot city of Pakistan’s Faisalabad district.

He was rushed to the hospital, where the 22 year old succumbed to his injuries. 

Hassan Farooq visited his girlfriend at her residence, when he heard her brother instead of walking out the door he jumped off the three storey building. Rescue personnel rushed to the scene and took him to a hospital in Dijkot.  

Since he was very severely injured he later passed away. Family of the deceased took his body back home without informing the police but as the news spread the police reached the house of the deceased and seized the body for necessary action. His family did not want to take any action against the girlfriend's family. 

According to The Tribune article, SHO Jhang Bazaar Inspector Amir Waheed said Farooq had visited Hasnain at her residence, where he jumped off the roof because he feared getting caught.
