New Delhi: Hours after Pakitsan brutally ‘thrashed’ Indian cricket team in the oval on Sunday during the finals of Champions Trophy, Pakistan Army Chief congratulated the team and announced Umrah for the winner players.

Umrah is a pilgrimage to Mecca, Saudi Arabia, performed by Muslims.

Meanwhile, the Indian cricket fans expressed a lot of angst against the Indian team after getting defeated by the ‘rival’ Pakistan team.

In several cities, the anger was so much that people took to streets and torched the posters of Virat Kohli and other players in the team.

Several people were also seen breaking their television screens and weeping in anger, after their hope and expectations were reduced to shambles by a poor performance of Indian team.

Pakistan hammered a blundering India by 180 runs to lift the ICC Champions Trophy, riding on a scintillating hundred from rookie opener Fakhar Zaman and a sensational bowling spell from Mohammad Amir.

This is Pakistan’s first ICC title triumph since their 2009 World Twenty20 win but more importantly it broke the jinx of not performing against India in big ticket matches.
