Nowgam encounter: 2 soldiers lose their lives; 2 terrorists killed

 Nowgam, J&K: An infiltration bid took place in Nogwam district of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday, where two Army officials lost their lives during the ongoing operation.   The operation was initiated when two terrorists attempting to cross the LoC got gunned down by the security officials. The incident comes days after Pakistani Army violated ceasefire and crossed the Line of Control and killed two Indian Army officials and mutilated their bodies. The allegations which were denied by Pakistan were highly condemned by the country. Indian Army Chief Bipin Rawat had promised to give a befitting reply to Pakistan for claiming the lives of Indian soldiers.
