Mumbai: The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Saturday conducted a raid at a party on board a cruise ship off the coast of Mumbai. According to sources close to ABP News, at least 10 people have been detained by the drug enforcement agency. 


Illegal drugs such as cocaine, hashish, and others were found during the raid which was conducted on Cordelia cruise liner's Empress ship.


Sources have also informed that the son of a Bollywood superstar was among those detained during the raid. 


NCB officials have also confirmed that children of prominent Bollywood actors are being investigated.

After getting a tip-off, NCB officials entered the ship disguised as passengers and then conducted the raid. The party is said to be high-profile as per person entry for such parties on the ship costs around Rs 80,000. 


The ship was to depart on Saturday for Goa. Those detained will be brought to Mumbai on Sunday for further questioning. 


This comes a day after NCB busted yet another international narcotic smuggling racket, seizing a drugs consignment from Hyderabad bound for Australia via Mumbai. 


Even the brother of Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal's girlfriend has been arrested by NCB for the third time in two years for possession of drugs.


The case was related to the late Bollywood superstar Sushant Singh Rajput death and NCB arrested a South African national Agisilaos Demetriades in a cocaine case for the second time. NCB also found a small quantity of charas.


The arrest was made in Goa and Demetriades is currently in judicial remand for 14 days.

NCB zonal director for Mumbai and Goa, Sameer Wankhede said that three other persons were also arrested in two other raids conducted by the agency during its series of raids in Goa over the last three days.


Reacting to the development, Rampal said: "As far as my direct family and me are concerned, we are law-abiding citizens. And while the incident involves a person who is a relative of my partner, I have no other connection or relationship other than that with this person.
