MUMBAI: After heavy rains crippled Mumbai and threw the normal life in the city out of gear, Mumbai University has announced that the students who missed Tuesday's examination can reappear for test later.
The schedule of fresh exams will be announced soon, the varsity said in a statement.
Incessant rains have been lashing the metropolis since morning. Due to which, many parts of the city and suburbs including Kandivali, Jogeshwari, Andheri, Kurla, Santacruz, Chembur, Tilak Nagar and surroundings experienced flooding or waterlogging.
Collapse of a road over-bridge in Andheri crippled the Western Railway's local train services.
