'Govt Conspiracy': Mukhtar Ansari's Brother Claims Ex-MLA 'Poisoned' To 'Save Some Criminals'
Calling Mukhtar Ansari's death 'government's conspiracy', the brother of the former MLA said that when the time comes, they will give strong proof that he was killed with poison.
Mukhtar Ansari Death: Gangster-turned-politician Mukhtar Ansari's brother, Afzal Ansari, said on Saturday that his brother has been killed and removed out of the way. Calling Mukhtar Ansari's death "government's conspiracy", the brother of the former MLA said that when the time comes, they will give strong proof that he was killed with poison.
"Mukhtar Ansari has been killed and removed out of the way. When the time comes, we will give strong proof that he was killed with poison... To save some criminals, the whole government and its machinery have done a huge conspiracy. They have no shame," Afzal Ansari said.
He further stated, "On March 26, Mukhtar Ansari was sent to the Medical College from the Banda jail... The Superintendent said that he was sent because the doctors suggested that... We received a message at 3 am that Mukhtar Ansari's condition is serious... When we reached the hospital, we were allowed to meet with difficulty, only for 5 minutes... During the 5-minute meeting, Mukhtar Ansari said that he had been poisoned and because of that he had fainted. He said that he was in extreme pain. He said that he had fainted and shifted to the hospital in that condition."

Ansari was laid to rest today at his ancestral Kali Bagh graveyard in Mohammadabad, located in the Ghazipur district of Uttar Pradesh. He passed away on Thursday after suffering a cardiac arrest. Thousands of people gathered to participate in his last rites and joined his funeral procession in Ghazipur.

Despite, regular announcements by the police to avoid overcrowding and maintain peace, the people gathered there did not disperse and continued to walk towards the graveyard.
In view of his funeral, several police personnel were deployed along the route leading from his home to the Mohammadbad graveyard, where his last rites were performed, ANI reported citing the District Magistrate Gazipur Aryaka Akhoury. She also stated that police were deployed outside the burial ground to maintain law and order, as people were gathered at the site to pay their respects to Ansari.
