New Delhi: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s wife Sadhna Singh did not receive a very warm welcome in a Madhya Pradesh village, where she had gone to seek votes for her party.The incident took place in Madhya Pradesh’s Budhni’s Rehti village; where Singh had gone with her party workers. She was going door to door in poll bound MP, when she encountered a very angry ‘voter’.


An aged woman started lashing out at Sadhna Singh and accused CM’s wife of ‘killing her of thirst’. The woman Dulari Bai said “Madam aapne pyasa maar dia”.

When Sadhna singh told her that the issue will be resolved, the angry woman said “It hasn’t been done so far, how it will be done now?” After this argument, Sadhna Singh and her party workers tried to pacify the angry woman, but soon left after several failed attempts.

The incident took place when Singh was out for Jan Sampark with her party workers.

The polling in Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections is set to take place on November 28. The counting of the votes would take place on December 11.
