Mohan Bhagwat Vijaya Dashmi Address: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat addressed members of the organisation on the occasion of Vijaya Dashami.


On the occasion of the 96th Foundation day of the Sangh, he said that the country does not want a culture that promotes partition, we need a culture that binds the nation together and promotes love.

After the 'Shastra pooja', he said that India became independent on August 15, 1947, but the country did not get this freedom overnight. He said that on the day we became independent along with the joy of freedom, we also have experienced immense pain in our hearts, which has not yet subsided.


The pain of partition still remains


RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat said that after independence India got the agony of partition. The bouts of suffering caused by the partition have not yet left us. He said that our generations should know about our history so that the next generation can be told that those who sacrificed for the country gave up everything.


Our country should be free of drugs


While advising the youth, Mohan Bhagwat said that the new generation is getting addicted to drugs. From the grown-ups to younger ones, everyone is getting involved in this. In such a situation, we should try to get the youth of the country out of the clutches of drugs in any which way possible, he said. He added that efforts are being made to spread chaos in the country.


Advice to govt regarding OTT


Mohan Bhagwat advised the government on the matter of OTT and said that the trend of online education has gone up after the COVID pandemic. Children have mobiles in their hands and there is no control over the OTT platform. In such a case, the government should have content on OTT under a regulatory framework. The government should make efforts for this, he advised.


War against Coronavirus 


Regarding the Coronavirus pandemic, the RSS chief said India has dealt with COVID in the best manner. He said Coronavirus was not as impactful in India during the first wave, but the second wave claimed the lives of many people. He stated there is also a possibility of a third wave now, adding that RSS has trained youth from every village so that they can help the citizens of the country and the families of Coronavirus patients in the possible third wave.


Prevent chaotic times through coordination


Expressing concern over the prevailing internal situation in the country, the RSS chief said that an atmosphere of chaos is being created within the country. He said states are fighting among themselves, police are fighting among themselves. In such a situation, it is very important to have good coordination between all the states. He said that the festivals and other such occasions should increase harmony and internal differences should be given up.
