Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin and Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi displayed 'brotherly' affection on social media platform X, after the Tamil Nadu CM posted a video of himself riding a cycle on the streets of the United States.

Stalin posted a video of himself riding a cycle along the scenic Chicago shoreline. He is in the US currently seeking investment for Tamil Nadu.

"Evening’s calm sets the stage for new dreams," the Dravida Munnetra Kazagham chief captioned his video, catching the attention of Rahul Gandhi. Sharing the video, Gandhi asked: "Brother, when are we cycling together in Chennai?"

Responding to the Raebareli MP, Stalin invited him for a ride to "explore the heart of Chennai together." He also promised a box of sweets to the Congress leader and invited him to a "delicious" South Indian lunch at his home.

"Dear brother @RahulGandhi, whenever you’re free, let’s ride and explore the heart of Chennai together," Stalin said. "A box of sweets is still pending from my side. After our cycling, let’s enjoy a delicious South Indian lunch with sweets at my home," he added.

This is not the first time though when the two leaders have shown their bond in public. Earlier this year during the Lok Sabha election campaign, Gandhi bought a box of famous South Indian delicacy, Mysore Pak for his "brother" Stalin.

Sharing a video of himself buying the box of sweet, Gandhi wrote: "Adding a touch of sweetness to the campaign trail in Tamil Nadu - bought some Mysore Pak for my brother Thiru Stalin!"
