On the complaint of a temple member, the local police filed a complaint on the charges of hurting religious faith, creating disharmony among religious sects, creating an atmosphere of fear in the society and desecrating the place of worship.

As per Azad Pal Singh, the station in-charge of Barsana, "The servers of Nandabhavan informed that three youths had reached Nand Bhawan on Thursday afternoon, one of whom had introduced himself as Faizal Khan, a resident of Delhi. He told everyone that he too has great faith in Lord Krishna and is traveling to ‘Braj 84 Kos’ (religiously significant Hindu pilgrimage) visiting all the holy places in the yatra also.”

Singh also said that the dup also visited Nandlala and Nand Baba in Nand Bhavan, after that when temple server went inside to close one of the shrines, the two people started reading namaz, took pictures and posted it on social media.

However, before that while having a religious discussion, they also recited Ramcharita Manas.

Later, the members of the temple committee performed the purification rituals for the temple.

Faizal Khan, the accused said that they were in the temple and it was time to offer Namaz, so they did it, it should not be considered any kind of conspiracy. He also claimed that an 'aarti' inside a mosque should not be considered otherwise too.

Conspiracy to spoil the atmosphere of state: Mohsin Raza

Minister of State for Minority Welfare Muslim Waqf Mohsin Raza, while reacting to the incident told ABP News that attempts are being made to disrupt the peace and harmony of the state under a conspiracy by some of the political parties.

Not directly naming any political party Raza trained guns at Congress party and Urdu poet Munawwar Rana. He said that there are some political parties which cannot stand the just governance of BJP as they have always favoured polarization of communities.

“Some time ago a famous poet wrote poem on Congress president Sonia Gandhi, recently he gave a statement supporting terrorism and some students in AMU joined his chorus. We all know which party her daughter has joined recently," he said in an indirect attack at Munawwar Rana.

FIR has been registered against Rana for allegedly defending the recent killings in France over a caricature of Prophet Muhammad.
