Maharashtra Political Crisis | Shinde To Move Court Over Removal As Shiv Sena Legislature Party Leader: Report
Maharashtra Political Crisis: Earlier it was reported that Eknath Shinde had called a meeting with other rebel MLAs to discuss the strategy ahead on the sixth day of the Maharashtra political crisis.
New Delhi: Rebel Shiv Sena MLA Eknath Shinde, who is currently in Assam’s Guwahati along with other legislators, to move court after seeking legal opinion over his removal as legislature party leader by Maharashtra Deputy Speaker Narhari Zirwal, reported news agency ANI. As per the report, the faction supporting Shinde said that the Deputy Speaker should have given at least seven days to rebel MLAs to reply to the notices.
Maharashtra deputy speaker Narhari Zirwal has sent notices to the 16 Shiv Sena rebel MLAs. The MLAs have to be present in Mumbai on Monday for the hearing of disqualification, the report stated citing its sources.

Earlier in the day it was reported that Shinde had called a meeting with other rebel MLAs to discuss the strategy ahead on the sixth day of the Maharashtra political crisis.
Meanwhile supporters of both the camps within the party took to streets in a show of strength in Maharashtra. While supporters of Shinde camp painted over posters erected in support of Uddhav Thackeray in Thane, the Shiv Sena workers held protests against rebel MLAs in Pune and Mumbai.

Amid the political crisis, 15 rebel MLAs were provided with Y+ category armed Central Reserve Police Force security cover by the Central government, reported the news agency citing its sources.
