New Delhi: A man in Dahisar was arrested by the Mumbai Police after he killed his friend for not returning Rs 100. DCP Somnath Gharge said the accused strangled his friend to death with a plastic pipe and tried to burn his body to destroy evidence. 


“We've arrested a man for killing his friend for not returning Rs 100. He strangled him to death with a plastic pipe and later tried to destroy evidence by burning his body,” said DCP Somnath Gharge.






Earlier, DCP Gharge had expelled eight professional criminals from the city this year in order to maintain law and order in the city, as per a report by Mid-Day. Last year, a total of 81 accused were expelled from the city.

These accused had a dozen of charges against them including murder, attempt to murder, robbery, extortion, and body offences. Three among the accused expelled were from Dahisar, three from Samtanagar, one from Kasturba Marg, and one was from the Dindoshi area.
