New Delhi: Five vaccines have been approved in India, these include Covaxin, Covishield, Sputnik V, Moderna, Johnson & Johnson's Single Dose Vaccine, and Zydus Cadila's vaccine – ZyCoV-D.
Among the vaccines being administered in India, the Covishield vaccine is administered in the highest numbers. This vaccine was developed by Oxford-AstraZeneca together. In India, it is being produced by the Serum Institute of India.

Apart from India, many countries of the world have also approved Covishield. These include big countries like France, Argentina, and Switzerland. India had supplied the vaccine to many countries, for which WHO tweeted and thanked Prime Minister Modi. Today we are telling you the list of countries that have approved the Covishield vaccine.

Maximum vaccines administered in a day
A new record has been set in India regarding the corona vaccination. India broke its own old record by giving more than 1 crore 32 lakh vaccine doses in a day.
On August 31, 1 crore 32 lakh 45 thousand 266 doses were administered in a single day.
India has given 1 crore 35 thousand 652 first doses and 32 lakh 9 thousand 614 second doses. Thus India has given 65 crores 32 lakh doses so far.
