Koregaon-Bhima case: Congress leader Digvijay Singh on Monday denied the allegations that claimed his involvement in the Koregaon-Bhima case after the Pune police seized a letter from an alleged Maoist containing his phone number. He also expressed his readiness to face any probe into the matter. Ahead of Madhya Pradesh assembly elections while speaking at Shikhar Sammelan organised by ABP News, Singh said, "I will be available for interrogation when I am asked to. Will fully cooperate in probe. I am not afraid." Singh's reference is in connection with a telephone number - said to belong to the Congress leader - that was found in one of the letters seized from the alleged Maoist sympathisers who was arrested by the police in the past few months. A senior police official was quoted by PTI as saying that the number in the letter is also available on the website of the Indian National Congress. "The phone number they are mentioning is avaible to everyone via Rajya Sabha's portal. I haven't used it since last four years," Digvijay said. Earlier in the day while speaking to the media, he dared the PM and BJP leaders to take action against him if he is found guilty. "If I am involved in any kind of anti-national activities then Modi Ji, Rajnath Ji & Fadnavis Ji can take action against me," The Congress leader said. The Congress leader's name was raised nearly three months ago with some Bharatiya Janata Party leaders like spokesperson Sambit Patra also referring to it. We have found a letter with some phone numbers these are being investigated," Deputy Commissioner of Police Suhas Bavche said, without elaborating. The letter, dated September 25, 2017, has been submitted before the Special Court as part of the evidence proving the links between the arrested activists and Maoist leaders of various outlawed groups like the CPI-Maoist.
