The Kshatriya Karni Sena has reportedly announced a reward of Rs Rs 1,11,11,111 for any police official who "encounters" jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. The announcement came days after Bishnoi's gang recently claimed responsibility for killing Nationalist Party Leader (NCP) leader Baba Siddique in Mumbai.
In a video message, Kshatriya Karni Sena's national president Raj Shekhawat said the reward money would be given to any security personnel who carried out the encounter of Lawrence Bishnoi and his organisation will take full responsibility for the safety and security of the police officer and their family.
In a one-minute video, the Kshatriya Karni Sena chief claimed Bishnoi is the “killer of our precious gem and heritage Amar Shaheed Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi ji". Gogamedi, the former chief of Karni Sena, was shot dead by unidentified assailants on December 5, 2023, in Jaipur. Hours later, the Lawrence Bishnoi gang had claimed responsibility for his murder.
Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi is currently lodged at Sabarmati Central Jail in Gujarat's Ahmedabad on account of various charges. His strong criminal syndicate is linked to several high-profile crimes, including the murder of Baba Siddiqui in Mumbai and the firing incident outside Salman Khan's house earlier this year.
The Bishnoi gang, in 2023, claimed responsibility for the killing of Khalistani sympathiser Sukha Duneke. The syndicate also allegedly carried out shootings outside the residences of singers AP Dhillon and Gippy Garewal in Canada.
