Karnataka Crisis: Sena Mouthpiece Saamna Takes On BJP; Seeks National Policy On Horse-Trading

New Delhi: BJP ally Shiv Sena has raised question on the ongoing dramatic situation in Karnataka via its mouthpiece Saamna. The editorial has questioned the ongoing alleged horse-trading that is going on in the state.
“Former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said this on Saturday that some legislators of Congress are in our contact but will not form a government by ransacking the current government” the article read.
He alleged that Shivraj is acting like an opportunist, but why does the party have different role in Karnataka and different in Madhya Pradesh? It said that “there should a national policy on whether a government should be formed by horse-trading or not”.
In Chhattisgarh, Congress has an absolute majority, whereas in Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, their government will fall with a small blow. The MLAs are ready to change sides and people are ready to be bought and sold.
“In Goa, BJP government was in a bad state, but now has stabilized. Congress-Mago MLAs resigned directly and they came to BJP and became ministers but the BJP lost the assembly by-elections in Panaji” it said.
“Lok Sabha elections are over and people attained massive victory in the same, but don’t take people for granted. Opposition governments won’t stand for long in the country” it said.
