J&K: Terrorist Killed In Joint Operation By Police And Army, War-Like Stores Recovered
The Indian Army said that weapons and war-like stores were also recovered during the joint operation.
At least one terrorist was killed after Jammu and Kashmir police and the Indian Army launched a joint operation on the intervening night of November 30 and December 1 at Arihal, Pulwama. The Indian Army said that weapons and war-like stores were also recovered.

Search operation in progress," Chinar Corps, Indian Army said, as quoted by news agency ANI.

Earlier on Sunday, in a joint operation conducted by the J&K Police along with other security forces, a terrorist associated with the proscribed terror outfit Ansar Guzwatul Hind (AGH) was arrested in the Shopian District of South Kashmir on Sunday. The operation also resulted in the recovery of arms and ammunition from the accused.
A checkpoint was established at Habdipora Shopian Crossing by the Police in collaboration with the Army and CRPF. During the inspection, a suspicious person coming from Kundalan towards Shopian was intercepted. The individual was identified as Farman Khursheed, a resident of Gagren Shopian. He was subjected to a physical search which led to the discovery of incriminating materials.
The seized items included one pistol, two pistol magazines, 10 rounds of 9mm caliber ammunition, and a mobile phone. During preliminary questioning, Khursheed, revealed his association with the banned outfit AGH. He confessed to being a terrorist associate and disclosed plans to carry out attacks on security forces in the district.
A case was registered under relevant sections of the law (FIR No.194/23) at Police Station Shopian, and a probe was launched.
