'ISIS militants abused me', says Indian doctor K Ramamurthy, who recently freed from terrorist organisation
New Delhi: An Indian doctor recently freed from ISIS in Libya has told the nightmare he went through when he was in the custody of militant organisation.
Thanking Indian government Dr. K Ramamurthy said, "Thankful to Prime Minister, NSA and other officials for the help. I will never forget".
Recalling the days of horror he said, "They used to force me to get into operation theaters, but I never did any surgery or stitches".
He also said the ISIS is well informed about India.
"ISIS did not do anything to me physically, but abused me verbally, they were educated youth well aware about India", he informed.
"One day ISIS came to my room and told me to come with them. There was another Indian. They took two of us to their central jail in Sirte. In jail, we met another two Indians, who were captured from outskirts of Sirte (Libya) and had already finished two months of jail term", Dr. K Ramamurthy informed.
Talking about ISIS cruelty he said-"ISIS people forced us to watch videos of what they did to Iraq, Syria, Nigeria and other places. It was bit difficult to watch them."
"After that, for unknown causes, they took us to another underground jail. After one month, they again shifted us to an area in Sirte. There, we met some Turkish people, Koreans and others. ISIS members taught us about Islam organisation, their rules and regulations", he added.
"When one day military came closer to building, where I was staying with four others, we started shouting Misurata,freedom. They rescued us," said Dr Ramamurthy.
