1 Indian Army Jawan Martyred, 2 Others Injured In Unprovoked Firing By Pak In J&K's Naugam
Pakistan has been repeatedly violating the ceasefire in Shahpur, Kirni and Degwar regions in the Poonch district of J&K.
Kupwara: A jawan of the Indian Army has been martyred and two others are reported to be injured during the firing and shelling by Pakistan in the Naugam sector of Kupwara district in Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday. Pakistan has been repeatedly violating the ceasefire in Shahpur, Kirni and Degwar regions in the Poonch district of J&K.
"One army personnel lost his life while two personnel have sustained injuries in Pakistan-initiated ceasefire violation in Nowgam sector of north Kashmir, today. Pakistan fired medium motor shells,": Indian Army sources told ANI.
As per reports, Pakistani forces indulged in unprovoked ceasefire violation along the LoC in Shahpur, Kirni and Degwar regions.
"Pakistan initiated unprovoked ceasefire violation along LoC in Naugam Sector, Kupwara today morning by firing mortars & other weapons. 1 soldier laid down his life in the line of duty. 2 soldiers injured & evacuated, condition stable,": Chinar Corps, Indian Army informed.
The Indian Army is giving a befitting response to the unnecessary provocation by putting up a strong fight.
