New Delhi:  Union Minister Amit Shah launched a scathing attack on the opposition I.N.D.I.A bloc during his address in Gujarat's Silvassa, accusing them of corruption and nepotism. Shah alleged that the alliance, comprised of parties led by seven prominent families, had enriched themselves through scams amounting to Rs 12 lakh crore, while neglecting the welfare of the public.

"We are standing on the threshold of (Lok Sabha) elections. We have two options in front of us. On one hand we have the leadership of Narendra Modi, full of patriotism, and on the other hand there is the I.N.D.I.A alliance which is a coalition of parties of seven families", PTI quoted Shah as saying.

Home Minister heaped praises on PM Modi, saying, "You have to decide whether the country wants the rule of Modi, who made India's economy the fifth largest in the world, or the I.N.D.I.A bloc that committed scams".

Amit Shah slammed the opposition, saying, "Congress leader Sonia Gandhi wants to make her son Rahul Gandhi the prime minister, Lalu Yadav, Uddhav Thackeray and MK Stalin want to make their sons chief ministers, while Trinamool Congress leader Mamta Banerjee wants to make her kin next (West Bengal) CM", reported PTI.

Shah asserted that only Modi and the BJP have the capability to deliver positive outcomes for the people of India. He also denounced the I.N.D.I.A bloc, describing it as a coalition of corrupt individuals who prioritise serving their family members over the interests of the nation. Shah elaborated that the acronym represents "2G, 3G, and 4G persons," clarifying that these designations signify parties dominated by two, three, or four generations of the same family. He emphasised that these parties monopolise power and opportunities, leaving little room for others to contribute, reported PTI.
