New Delhi: The cases of the deadly coronavirus in the country are now slowly decreasing. In the last 24 hours, 29 thousand 689 new cases of corona have been reported in the country. At the same time, 415 people died. Now the total number of active cases in the country has come down to 3 lakh 98 thousand, 100. Know what is the latest status of the coronavirus in the country.


According to the latest data released by the Ministry of Health, the total number of positive cases in the country has now reached 3 crores, 14 lakh, 40 thousand, 951. At the same time, 4 lakh, 21 thousand, 382 people have died due to this pandemic. After 42 thousand 363 new discharges in the last 24 hours, the total number of discharges has gone up to 3 crores, 0 lakhs, 21 thousand 469.



The Health Ministry has informed that the number of corona vaccinations in the country has crossed 44 crores. Yesterday, more than 57 lakh doses of vaccine were administered, after which 44 crores 10 lakh 57 thousand 103 doses of vaccine have been administered in the country so far.


The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has said that 17 lakh 20 thousand 110 sample tests were done for coronavirus in India yesterday. Thereafter, the total number of tests conducted has crossed the 45 crores 91 lakh 64 thousand 1217 mark.


UP Moving Towards Being 'Covid Free State'


The recovery rate from corona in Uttar Pradesh has reached a remarkable 99 percent. It is zero in the form of active and fresh Covid infection in 8 districts of Aligarh, Balrampur, Hathras, Basti, Mahoba, Shravasti, Etah, and Fatehpur. Hence Uttar Pradesh is now rapidly moving towards becoming a coronavirus-free state. Out of 2,50,406 samples tested in the last 24 hours, only 43 tested positive.


The Supreme Court will hear on helping children orphaned due to Corona. The court itself took cognizance of the matter and asked the state governments to ensure that there is no shortage of food, medicine, clothes, etc. to such children. Their education should continue without any hindrance. Apart from this, the court had also asked the central government to give detailed information about the assistance announced from the PM Cares Fund and how it will be delivered to the children.
