New Delhi: Maintaining significant dip in number of daily Covid cases, India reported 34,703 new cases in the last 24 hours. According to Union Health Ministry, this is lowest in 111 days. Active cases have declined to 4,64,357 while the recovery rate rises to 97.17%.
In its daily health bulletin, the Centre reported that the total recoveries across the country so far are 2,97,52,294. Of these, 51,864 patients recovered during last 24 hours. With this, recovery rate increases to 97.17%. The daily recoveries continue to outnumber the faily new cases for the 54th consecutive day.

The government firther reported that weekly positivity rate remains below 5%, currently at 2.40%. Daily positivity rate at 2.11%, less than 3% for 15 consecutive days
