President Droupadi Murmu attended the Combined Graduation Parade at the Air Force Academy, Dundigal in Hyderabad on Saturday. A Combined Graduation Parade was held at the Air Force Academy, Dundigal in Hyderabad to commemorate the successful completion of training for 194 Flight Cadets from the Flying and Ground Duty branches of the Indian Air Force.



Flying Officer Manisha Yadav achieved the remarkable feat of securing the first position in merit among ground duty branches. Expressing her immense honor and happiness, she stated, "I feel very honored and happy to be a part of the Indian Air Force and to receive the prize from the President," news agency ANI quoted her as saying. 



Newly commissioned Indian Air Force officers from Haryana, including two women, took first place in their course at the Air Force Academy in Dundigal, near Hyderabad, on Saturday.


At the 211th Combined Graduation Parade, Flying Officer Nitesh Jakhar of the Flying Branch was awarded the 'Sword of Honour' and Gold Medal for finishing first in the order of merit in the course. "It feels great to receive this award. My parents are very proud," Jakhar said after receiving the award. 



Flying Officer Ishana Singh, who ranked first in the Administration Branch, is from Gurugram.


Varsha Yadav, the first in the Meteorology order of merit, is from Jhansi in Uttar Pradesh.


On the occasion, 119 trainees from the 211th Pilot Course and 75 trainees from the 211th Ground Duty Officers Course were commissioned, along with eight officers from the Indian Navy and two from Vietnam, according to an official statement by Rashtrapati Bhavan. 


The ceremony concluded with the newly commissioned officers receiving their first salute from their immediate juniors while marching out in two columns in slow march to the traditional notes of Rabindranath Tagore's 'Anandaloke,' according to the statement. 


The grand finale of the Combined Graduation Parade was a scintillating aerobatic display by Pilatus aircraft, synchronous aerobatic displays by a Helicopter display team 'Sarang', 'Surya Kiran Aerobatic Team', and SU-30 MKI.
