In a hilarious video posted on Monday from Mumbai Police's official Twitter handle, a pickpocket can be seen stealing a man’s wallet and then returning it again. The video has cracked up the netizens and has elicited more than 4.3K likes and has been retweeted 1.3K times.
The video is accompanied by a warning for people who think they can get away by pulling something like this. The caption read: “The video is funny, but the consequences in reality will be quite serious!” It was then followed by hashtag #EyeOpenersForYou.
A young boy standing in a queue in front of a shop’s counter, picks pocket of another man standing in front of him. He then notices the CCTV camera and puts on a sheepish smile. Facing the camera, he joins hands in a “Namaste” manner and then returns the wallet to its owner; pretending like it had fallen down and he picked it for him. He even shakes hand with the man.
