New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Tuesday, said that his government will stop the flow of water from India to Pakistan and will direct it to the houses of people in Haryana, while he was addressing a rally in the poll-bound state of Haryana.

“For 70 years the water which rightfully belonged to the farmers of Haryana and India, went to Pakistan. Modi will stop this flow of water to Pakistan and will direct it to your households. Only India and its farmers have right over this water,” PM said addressing people in Haryana’s Charkhi Dadri.

With hardly a week left to go for the polls in the state, PM Modi is leading a back to back campaign trail. In his address today, he accused Congress leaders of spreading rumours over Article 370 in India and the world.

He said the people of the state have decided to put their stamp on the clean and transparent administration of the BJP government and bring it back to power.

"People of Haryana have decided to bring BJP back to power," Modi said.

With wrestler Babita Phogat entering into the political 'dangal' as the BJP candidate for the Dadri assembly seat, Modi said daughters of Haryana have proved their mettle in all fields.

"During an informal meeting, Chinese President Xi Jinping told me he has seen Dangal movie," Modi said.

"Mahre Choree Choroon Say Kam Hey Ke," he said in Haryanvi.
