New Delhi: After meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the G20 summit in Rome, French President Emmanuel Macron on Saturday tweeted in Hindi. To this gesture, PM Modi reciprocated while tweeting in French.

While underlying the importance of the India-France relationship, French President Macron on his official Twitter handle writes, "We share common ambitions for the environment, health and innovation with India. We will continue to work together towards concrete results, especially in the Indo-Pacific region."

Reciprocating the gesture, PM Modi tweeted in French, "Delighted to meet my friend, President Emmanuel Macron in Rome. Our talks revolved around strengthening cooperation in various fields and fostering people-to-people relations."
