During his visit to Kerala's Wayanad, Rahul Gandhi was spotted serving food off his plate and then warmly embracing an old woman. The Congress MP was seated in a café with senior party leader KC Venugopal when the touching moment was recorded on video.

The senior Congressman interprets and then offers the woman food from their plate. Rahul Gandhi is next. The encounter concludes with an unidentified woman standing nearby gently stroking Rahul Gandhi's face and the leader embracing her.

During his visit, Rahul Gandhi was also seen inaugurating numerous programmes.
"Shri @RahulGandhi inaugurating various programmes & receiving the adoration of people in Wayanad," KC Venugopal tweeted .
The 52-year-old leader was observed shaking hands with an elderly woman on another occasion and on another day of this tour. She kissed his cheeks throughout the meeting, and someone in the video said she had been waiting to see the Congress MP since the morning.
Rahul Gandhi was met by a little girl who promptly stepped into his SUV in another pleasant encounter.
