New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi held NITI Aayog’s Governing Council meeting on Sunday. This was the third meeting of the NITI Ayog. The meeting was set to discuss in detail, the actions taken in the first two meetings.

  • A 15-year vision for India is prepared by the commission and is likely to be presented during the meeting by NITI Ayog Vice Chairman Arvind Panagariya. The map would discuss a roadmap for rapid transformation in India, by outlining key aspects



  • A 3 year plan is also likely to be discussed along with a seven year strategy document



  • The meeting is set to last for one whole ay and is being attended by Chief Ministers of various states



  • Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will be presenting a roadmap in front of PM Modi, which talks about doubling farmers’ income
