Delhi-NCR CNG Price Hike: CNG rates in Delhi-NCR have been hiked amid speculations of a hike in fuel prices due to the rise in crude oil prices. This means the common man who is already burdened with inflation has been shaken up by the raised CNG prices. The increased prices of CNG came into effect from March 8, 2022, at 6 am.


CNG Costlier By 50 Paise In Delhi


CNG in Delhi has now become costlier by 50 paise. The current CNG rate in Delhi is Rs 57.01 per kg, which has increased to Rs 57.51 per kg from Tuesday morning.


CNG Becomes Costlier By Re 1 In NCR


CNG has become costlier by one rupee per kg in Noida, Greater Noida, and Ghaziabad. From Tuesday i.e. today, people will get CNG at Rs 59.58 per kg in these cities.



  • It should be noted that after the increase of CNG by Re 1 in Gurugram, it will now be available at Rs 65.88 per kg instead of Rs 65.38 per kg.

  • In Rewari, CNG will now be available at Rs 67.98 per kg instead of Rs 67.48.

  • After the increase of 50 paise in Karnal and Kaithal, CNG will now be available at the rate of Rs 66.18 per kg.


Petrol & Diesel Rates Also Expected To Go Up


Apart from this, with the conclusion of the assembly elections in five states on Monday, now the petrol and diesel prices are also expected to rise. As per the reports, the price of petrol can be increased from Rs 10 to Rs 16 and that of diesel from Rs 8 to Rs 12. This price rise will be implemented in phases.
