New Delhi: In the race against Covid-19, India achieved a milestone with 75 percent of all adults being fully vaccinated. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday congratulated fellow citizens of the country for this "momentous feat" and added that he was proud of all those who were putting their effort to make the vaccination drive a success.
Retweeting a tweet by Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya where he stated that India has achieved its goal of vaccinating 75 per cent of the adult population against Covid-19, the prime minister said, "75% of all adults are fully vaccinated. Congratulations to our fellow citizens for this momentous feat."
"Proud of all those who are making our vaccination drive a success," he added.
The cumulative number of Covid-19 vaccine doses administered in the country so far has crossed 165.70 crore.

In the last 24 hours, over 800 deaths due to Covid-19 were reported in the country as 893 people succumbed to the infection. While 2,34,281 new cases of Covid-19 were reported, 5,52,784 people recovered. 16,15,993 samples were tested for Covid-19 in the last 24 hours
Active caseload of the country currently stood at 18,84,937 while the daily positivity rate was at 14.50 percent.
