New Delhi: Travellers, who are fully vaccinated against the covid-19 virus, from India and Indonesia will be allowed to enter Singapore from November 29, 2021, onwards.
As per the Strait Times report, Singapore has announced that it will be launching Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) under a quarantine free travel scheme starting from November 29, 2021.
Apart from India and Indonesia, fully vaccinated travellers from Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and United Arab Emirates (UAE) will also be allowed to enter Singapore from December 6, 2021, onwards.
Travellers entering Singapore will not have to serve the home quarantine period, while they will have to test Covid-19 negative two days prior to their visit to Singapore, including on their arrival ANI reported.
The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) on Monday announced the Vaccinated Travel Lane expansion scheme.
“Following discussions between PMs @NarendraModi and @LeeHsienLoong, Singapore will be launching a Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) for fully-vac travellers from India with valid entry approvals-starting 29 Nov-pending resumptions of commercial passenger flights,” Singapore in India handle tweeted.
As per the CAAS, travellers are advised to check the entry requirements of the respective VTL countries, which may change depending upon the covid-19 situation.
The CAAS in collaboration with the Union Ministry of Health is closely monitoring the coronavirus situation worldwide and in each VTL countries, and will make adjustments in measures if needed be.
