'Condemnable Act': SP Claims Yogi Govt Denied Landing Permission To Akhilesh Yadav's Plane In Moradabad
Akhilesh Yadav was slated to arrive in Moradabad for an event on February 4, according to the party's tweet.
The Samajwadi Party on Thursday said that Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, had refused to let SP leader Akhilesh Yadav's jet to land in Moradabad.
Akhilesh Yadav was slated to arrive in Moradabad for an event on February 4, according to the party's tweet.
The state's Yogi Adityanath administration, nevertheless, refused to let his jet land there.
"As per a pre-announced programme, national president Akhilesh Yadav was supposed to attend a function in Moradabad on February 4 but the Yogi Adityanath government is not allowing the plane to land," the party said in a tweet.
"This is a very condemnable act. The BJP's arrogance will end soon!" it added.

The party also attached a document that backed up Akhilesh Yadav's full agenda for February 4 in Moradabad.
Meanwhile, Moradabad District Magistrate Shailendra Kumar denied the Samajwadi Party's charges and stated that the helipad in question was being renovated, India Today reported.
Furthermore, the DM stated that Akhilesh Yadav should land in a neighbouring district and proceed by road to Moradabad.

This was not the first time the BJP levelled similar charges against the Yogi Adityanath administration in Uttar Pradesh.
Previously, the SP head said that his helicopter was refused permission to land in Jhansi, where he had gone to see Deep Narayan Yadav.
Yadav then stated that clearance was denied because the helipad was being renovated.
