'The Country Is Proud': Wishes Pour In From Leaders Across Political Parties Ahead Of Chandrayaan-3 Landing

As Chandrayaan-3 is all set to attempt to land on the uncharted south pole of the Moon, Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan thanked all the scientists and said that the country is proud.

As Chandrayaan-3 is all set to attempt to land on the uncharted south pole of the Moon, reactions have started to pour in from leaders and members of different political parties. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan thanked all the scientists and said that the country is proud. "The country is proud...I want to thank all the scientists from the bottom of my heart...Under PM Modi's leadership the country has achieved a lot," Shivraj Singh Chouhan said, as quoted by news agency ANI.

Uttar Pradesh Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak gave best wishes to the scientists and said that the entire country. He also hailed Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said that India has progressed rapidly in every sector under his leadership. "I want to give my best wishes & pray that Chandrayaan-3 makes a soft landing on the moon. The entire country is waiting. Under PM Modi's leadership India has progressed rapidly in every sector...I salute the scientists," Pathak said.

Congress leader Udit Raj also expressed his happiness over the mission and wished that Chandrayaan 3 has a safe landing so that the purpose of launching it is fulfilled. "I am very happy & hope that Chandrayaan 3 has a safe landing so that the purpose of launching it is fulfilled...Our scientists have worked hard for its soft landing," Udit Raj said.

"I salute to the hard work of our ISRO scientists. It's a very proud moment for us to reach here," Aam Aadmi Party spokesperson Priyanka Kakkar said, as quoted by news agency PTI.

"Earlier people used to say that Moon has spots on it, now people will say the Moon has Chandrayaan on it)," BJP leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said.

“The success of Chandrayaan-3 will prove that India is also a world power in the space sector,” BJP leader Satish Poonia said.

Delhi Minister Gopal Rai said that Chandrayaan-3 will be a new episode in India's list of achievements after its successful landing. "India has achieved several achievements since its Independence. Chandrayaan-3 will be a new episode in our list of achievements after its successful landing (on Moon)," said Delhi minister Gopal Rai.

National Conference president Farooq Abdullah said, “India has progressed tremendously and has been progressing in space since the time of APJ Abdul Kalam. All of us are proud of our scientists”.
