Chandigarh MC Polls: Counting Of Votes For 35 Wards Today, New Councillors To Be Elected

Chandigarh MC Polls: Counting of votes will start at 9 am and the results will likely be out by noon. Election officials will start opening the EVM strongrooms from 7.30 am. 

New Delhi: For the Chandigarh municipal corporation elections counting of votes will take place today to decide the fate of 203 candidates in the fray from 35 wards. The counting of votes will start at 9 am and the results will likely be out by noon. Election officials will start opening the EVM strongrooms from 7.30 am and the official counting will start by 9 am. 

On Friday, December 24, around 60.7% voter turnout was recorded for the Chandigarh MC polls concluded peacefully.
