New Delhi: The Jammu and Kashmir administration razed the boundary wall of Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist commander Amir Khan's property in Anantnag's Pahalgam on Saturday, news agency ANI reported.
Notably, Additional Director General of Police (Kashmir zone) Vijay Kumar, on Friday said that during the year 2022, a total of 93 successful encounters took place in Kashmir in which 172 terrorists including 42 foreign terrorists got neutralised.
Maximum terrorists neutralised from Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) / The Resistance Front (TRF) (108) outfit followed by Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM - 35), Hizbul Mujahideen (22), Al-Badr (4), and Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind (AGuH - 3) outfits, ADGP Kashmir said, as per ANI.
In 2022, a total of 29 civilians were killed by terrorists including 21 locals (6 Hindus including 3 Kashmiri Pandits, and 15 Muslims) and 8 from other states. All terrorists involved in these terror crimes have been neutralised except Basit Dar and Adil Wani who will be neutralised soon," the ADGP said.
During the year, a total of 26 Security Forces personnel including 14 Jammu-Kashmir Police personnel attained martyrdom during terror attacks/encounters. The majority of terrorists involved in these terror crimes have been neutralised," he informed, as quoted by ANI.

The action comes days after Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Wednesday (December 28) stressed the need to "dismantle" the terror ecosystem comprising elements that aid, abet and sustain the terrorist-separatist campaign which adversely impacts the well-being of the common man.
Notably, the house of designated Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) terrorist Ashiq Nengroo, built on encroached government land, was demolished at New Colony, Rajpora in Pulwama on December 10. In April this year, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) declared JeM commander Ashiq Ahmed Nengroo as an individual 'terrorist' under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act.
He is engaged in a campaign to orchestrate terror in Jammu and Kashmir.
Meanwhile, on December 17, another major crackdown was launched against terror funding in Jammu and Kashmir when the State Investigation Agency (SIA) seized properties worth hundreds of crores of rupees of banned Jamaat-e-Islami (JeI) in several districts including Baramulla, Bandipora, Ganderbal, and Kupwara.
On December 24, the SIA sealed the house of late Kashmiri separatist and Hurriyat leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani at Barzulla in Jammu and Kashmir's Srinagar.
