New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Dilip Pandey on Thursday claimed that BJP is preparing to break his party's 40 legislators as contact could not be establish with certain MLAs ahead of meeting called by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.


"MLAs are being contacted. Yesterday message was communicated and the MLAs with whom contact could not be established will be done and all MLAs will be present in the meeting. BJP is preparing to break 40 MLAs," Dilip Pandey said, as quoted by news agency ANI.






AAP MLA Atishi also alleged that "the BJP has been trying for days to topple the Delhi government." "Our MLAs are being offered money and are being threatened. Delhi Deputy Chief Minister was threatened too. This is not the first such attempt. BJP has attempted Operation Lotus earlier too. They have always failed, they will always fail," she asserted, as per ANI.






AAP convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has called a meeting of his party MLAs at his residence today. The meeting is scheduled to take place at 11 am in which the current political scenario, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) raid against Sisodia over alleged corruption in Delhi Excise Policy, and the Enforcement Directorate (ED) action on the party leaders are to be discussed, reported ANI.


Moreover, the Kejriwal-led Delhi government has called a special session of the Assembly on Friday. Before this, the Delhi Chief Minister had called for a meeting of the Political Affairs Committee at his residence on Wednesday.


Several AAP leaders have leveled allegations against the BJP of trying to overthrow the Delhi government by breaking its MLAs to its side.
