Winter Session Of Parliament
The winter session of parliament has remained a stormy one for many reasons but the suspension of 12 Rajya Sabha MPs for their behaviour during the monsoon session of parliament has been a reverberating issue by the opposition.
While the government approached the opposition by calling a 5-party meet to resolve the conflict, the opposition members have called the move way to divide them. The opposition has demanded an all-party meet in order to resolve the matter. They have also been adamant that the chairperson revisit his decision to suspend the MPs.
Govt has been asking the suspended MPs to apologise for their unruly behaviour in parliament in order to revoke their suspension. The suspended MPs have refused to apologise.
