The BJP Parliamentary Party meeting concluded on Tuesday, setting the stage for the government to face the Opposition's impending no-confidence motion. During the meeting, Prime Minister Modi likened the overall situation to a "semi-finals" clash, alluding to the Delhi Services Bill. According to sources, PM Modi said the intention of the opposition was to have semi-finals with the government and it took place yesterday and the result is in front of everyone.
Prime Minister Modi, addressing the BJP members, noted that those who championed social justice have often undermined it through dynastic, appeasement, and corrupt practices. He urged party workers to spearhead a series of programmes over the coming months focused on countering dynastic politics. The new slogan PM Modi gave for the programme gave is "Parivarvaad, Tushtikaran Aur Bhrashtachar INDIA Chodo" (End Dynastic Politics, Appeasement, and Corruption, Embrace a New India).

Led by BJP President JP Nadda, the parliamentary party meeting was attended by Prime Minister Modi and other senior union ministers. The strategic timing of this assembly is particularly noteworthy as it aligns with the upcoming assembly elections in four states. Additionally, the meeting's significance is compounded by its coincidence with the impending Lok Sabha discussion on a motion of no-confidence against the government, scheduled for later today.
According to sources within the Congress, Rahul Gandhi is expected to lead the opposition's debate. Following Gandhi's opening statement, Gaurav Gogoi, the Congress's deputy leader in the Lok Sabha and the initiator of the motion is set to follow. Eminent Congress figures, including Manish Tewari and Depak Baij, are also anticipated to provide their insights during the deliberations.
Gogoi's no-confidence motion, listed as the third item on the agenda, will be deliberated against the backdrop of ongoing ethnic tensions in Manipur. These tensions have caused disruptions in both Houses of Parliament on multiple occasions.
