New Delhi: Ahead of the upcoming Uttar Pradesh assembly elections 2022, former Chief Minister and Samajwadi Party supremo Akhilesh Yadav lashed out at the BJP-led Central government over the Union Budget 2022 on Tuesday, saying that the BJP has delivered another budget that "picks the pocket of the common man."

Taking to Twitter, SP Chief writes, "All the work-business has come to a standstill. Historical recession, lakhs of jobs have been lost…the income of the general public has decreased. All the savings deposited in the banks due to unemployment disease…now another BJP budget has come to cut the pockets of the people. The sorrowful era for BJP is beginning from UP! People of UP now say that they don't want BJP."
