Patna: In Bihar, the issue of corruption in officers arises from time to time. Sometimes, the opposition, as well as the ruling party leaders, are seen accusing the authorities of corruption. Leaders say bureaucracy is at its peak, in the state. The corrupt practices hamper the development work in the state.

Bihar's leader of opposition Tejashwi Yadav took to Twitter to target the Nitish Kumar government on the issue of bureaucracy. He said, "Bureaucracy is at its peak in Bihar. Officials promote corruption and bribery by neglecting government work. Public representatives are humiliated and citizens do not consider them equal. But what about the Government and the Ministers? They are concerned with their share in 'bandarbaant'".






Tejashwi wrote, "Corruption has become a left-handed game for the ruling party and fearless officers in the NDA government. Together, they earn illegal money and citizens are caught in a vicious cycle of bribery, government negligence, trouble and corruption. The public went wanders away, but there is no trace of hearing, action".


Tejashwi Yadav has raised the issue regarding bureaucracy a lot of times. He has also cornered the government over the arbitrary attitude and corruption of the officials during the session in the Assembly (Bihar Legislative Assembly). Meanwhile, Madan Sahni, a minister in the Bihar government, had also offered to resign as a minister, accusing the officials of arbitrariness. However, his application was not accepted.
