Although there's no clarity till now, but the trends so far show the JD(U)-BJP alliance is now ahead in 131 seats in the state while the RJD-led Mahagathbandhan is leading on 101 constituencies for the Bihar assembly polls. While the BJP-led NDA fielded candidates on 121 seats, the Nitish Kumar-led party contested on 122 seats.
As announced by the Election Commission of India, the counting for most of the seats is underway while the results for 8 seats have been declared with 2 seats each in the kitty of Bharatiya Janata Party, Janata Dal United, and Rashtriya Janata Dal.
Congress's Bijender chaudhary has won the Muzaffarpur seat, while BJP's Sanjay Saraogi won from Darbhanga. Ashok Kumar Chodhary of JD(U) won from Sakra.
But the eyes of the people of Bihar are stuck at a few seats helmed by star candidates. The battle has gone fierce on the seats such as Raghopur, Bankipur, Nalanda, Madhuban, Parsa, etc.
